Cardiovascular rehabilitation is a comprehensive package offered to patients diagnosed with heart disease. It includes components of health education, advice on cardiovascular risk reduction, physical activity and stress management. It reduces mortality, morbidity, unplanned hospital admissions. Now it is recommended intervention due to its improvements in exercise capacity, quality of life and psychological well-being.
